Merit Badge Information Update!

With record numbers of participants many extra sessions have been added.

If you are looking for an Eagle required merit badge try registering for Sunday (no guarantees as it changes daily)

First Aid and Environmental Science completely closed out. Needs to have a cancellation to open up a seat.

Available seats in most elective merit badges (no guarantees as it changes daily).

Give attention to your appearance. Pictures will be taken so look your best. If you do not have the new green shoulder loops, they will be available at the Scout Shop trading post along with other items. Remember to show off your troops colors (neckerchief).

BE PREPARED. Take the time before the event to gather all of the materials you need. Put each merit badge in a different folder or envelope. Be sure to put your full name, Troop Number and Town, State on the outside just in case it accidentally slips out of your possession while at the event.

· BRING signed blue cards

· Registration will take place in the cafeteria where we will gather.

· Enter through the front or on the side (closest to the cafeteria). Follow the signs.

· Special events at lunch time, must be present.

HERE IT IS! The 2009 SEMEOS District Merit Badge Fair Packet. The event will be February 21 & 22, 2009 at Herbert Hoover Middle School in Edison, NJ. Remember, it is a first come/first serve event. Hey All, Just a reminder that we have our Roundtable THIS WEDNESDAY, February 18th, 2009 at 7:30pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church in East Brunswick. Thank you for all that you do and I hope to see you all on Wednesday night this week at 7:30pm!

Here is the registration flyer and information for the 2009 SEMEOS District Dinner on Sunday, March 1st. I hope you all plan to attend as we celebrate the 3rd year in a row that the SEMEOS District has been a “Quality District”. We have a lot of awards to present and you can recognize adults from your units as well with the Adult Leader Award of Merit, which can be awarded to 2 members of your unit a year. I am attaching the form for that as well. PLEASE plan to attend this great dinner to celebrate Scouting in the SEMEOS District. Thank you!

The SEMEOS District Cub Olympics will be held on Saturday, March 14th, 2009 at Woodrow Wilson School in Edison. Here is the registration flyer. Please pass this along to EVERYONE in your pack so that all scouts have the chance to attend. Please note, that we will also have our District Pinewood Derby for SEMEOS CUBS ONLY!!! The information is all in the flyer. Thank you and I hope to see you all there on March 14th!
